Peace and love! My name Chris Kazi Rolle. I am a Bahamain-born, Brooklyn-bred, and LA-Based serial entrepreneur working at the cross sections of creativity, personal development and relationships.
My journey has been marked by resilience, having overcome significant challenges such as foster care, homelessness, and incarceration. My work spans various domains, including brand building, personal development, and relationship wellness. I have co-founded several companies and initiatives.
As a businessman, I have served as a strategist, investor, and advisor to several companies across industries. I am the co-founder of Kazi Creative Agency, a content creation company that works with purpose-driven entrepreneurs to mold, manage, and monetize their personal brands. I am also the co-founder of Together Apart, a relationship wellness company for singles and couples, and an advisor to the New York-based startup Supa Mega Foods, a plant-based supplement company.
As a philanthropist, in 1999, I co-founded The Hip Hop Project, an award-winning arts-education organization that uses Hip Hop, popular culture, and mentorship to teach young people essential life skills, as well as the creative and corporate side of the music business. In 2001, I co-founded A.P.E.X., a non-profit organization that hosts monthly college preparation workshops, culminating in a week-long tour of Historically Black Colleges and Universities from New York City to Atlanta.
My intimate understanding of human relationships and inspiring life story have made me a sought-after expert for various media outlets. I have written for Essence, Madam Noire, HuffPost, and Men's Health. I have been featured on VH1, CNN, CBS, and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
My work and life are the focus of the Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah award-winning documentary film, The Hip Hop Project.
In my leisure time, I enjoy sports, traveling, and live music. I am also an avid chess player, martial artist, gym enthusiast, and foodie. My wife Nefra and I reside in Los Angeles, California with our daughter Jubilee.
